The Rodarte for Target line isn’t supposed to hit stores for another week or so… However, if you’re one of the lucky in the Manhattan, San Francisco or D.C. area, you can shop it right now. Only in these three cities can you find the Rodarte line in Target stores. You can’t even buy it online yet! The few select stores carrying the line are:
New York: Gansevoort Street & Washington (at the High Line)
Washington D.C.: M Street & Wisconsin Avenue (Georgetown)
San Francisco: 5th Street between Market & Mission (Mint Plaza)

Okay, so as much as I hate to admit it… Lauren Conrad has it going on. Her line has flourished (laurenconrad.seenon.com) and she is always dressed to the max. Whether in leggings and a shirt or in this Roberto Cavalli gown at the season 4 premier of The Hills. I mean she looks like an angel here… hair swept up loosely and a gorgeous neutral with a little funk gown. The design on the side gives that pizazz LC is known for but her whole looks is simple and gorgeous.
Although… I do like to see designers fight, claw and sweat blood and tears to get their lines even glanced at, Lauren got fame that easy way through her reality show. In turn once she became a name, she designed her own line and BOOM, away it went and is selling like crazy (even with the somewhat outrageous prices! I mean, it is still JUST a Lauren Conrad line… BCBG styles, BCBG prices, no BCBG name). Either way, she got it out there and is profiting and looking great. Now with Heidi Montag coming out with her own line, will this reality star “easy way in” become a trend? LETS HOPE NOT. Still, way to go Lauren… classy, simple and beautiful line. Just like you.
Well, Chanel doesn’t disappoint do they… This fall they broke out pure classics: Tweeds, furs and the most classic colors women could want in black, greys, taupe and beige. This fall, we can expect to see NYC business women and/or the classic woman dressed head to toe in Chanel. Why? We are seeing an array of fashioned up business suits in the form of pencil skirts and matching blazers. And I mean who DOESN’T look good in black and grey hues? Very St. John actually. But what sets these apart from the those St. John suits we see mostly on the 40+ crowd? They’re ramped up with ruffles on the bottom and the nice tight stitch around the hem of the skirts. Bit shorter, bit trendier. Nice short, petite blazer. Paired with a simple pair of Chanel pumps OR get the matching tweed ones in some cases… How much better can we get here?

I’m not a business woman by any means… I mean, the only pencil skirt I own is for job interviews! BUT… at the idea of prancing around in these Chanel suits? I would gladly succumb and adhere to the “cut throat, do anything to move up” motto of those we know and love in the city. Now all we need to go with the Chanel suits in the City? Sex… Oh wait… with Chanel covering your body and hanging on your arm… what better love and arm candy would a girl NEED??
